We have been using ShipRush since 2007 and have found it to be a very useful and wonderful product. We love it. We commend you on a really nice piece of software. We literally ship thousands of boxes per month with it.
Late this afternoon we learned in an email disguised as a "newsletter" that ShipRush for USPS is being discontinued in TWO DAYS WITH NO WARNING?!?!?! Transition now or else.
Seriously? We are a high volume shipper and we just learned in the late afternoon today, Tuesday, that our shipping software is only going to work on Wednesday and Thursday and then by Friday, May 1, it will cease to function.
Someone please tell me I have this all wrong.
I went to look at paying $349 for your software (which we know and love and have used for 8 years now for FedEx and the past few for USPS) and the terms and conditions for the sale say (and I'm paraphrasing here) that all sales are final and the software may or may not work for an unconfirmed length of time and we may get some unspecified prorated consolation if it all goes south. Wow, that is harsh, vindictive even, against us, your loyal customers. You won't even give us a week to figure this out?!? Some advance warning maybe?
Wow. This is so very bad it cannot be right. What on earth is going on here? This is absolutely nuts. Am I the only one freaking out about this??? Please tell me I am completely misunderstanding the situation. After all it is late, I am tired and if this is true I have virtually NO TIME TO REACT PROPERLY.
We have a business to run, boxes to fill and ship and now you are telling us that we have 48 hours before we can no longer ship any USPS boxes without leaping off a cliff into a service we do not understand and have not even been given the courtesy of time to evaluate. We didn't get as strong in our business as we are by treating our own customers this way that is for certain.
Please, please, please help us and explain what is happening. We are a high volume shipper and we have commercial plus pricing through Stamps.com.
Can you please show us a rate table? I have seen the calculator and it must be based on a rate table. Given that you are allowing us only 48 hours to transition we don't have time to reverse engineer a rate table from this calculator.
For all we know the situation with your new product may be better than our current shipping setup with commercial plus through stamps.com. We should not be required to drop everything we have built and rotate on a dime just because you now offer something different. With no time to study the situation we are very, very, very upset to be unexpectedly thrown into this tumult by you, a company who we thought we could count on.
Please, please explain what on earth is going on. Better yet, tell me I read the "newsletter" all wrong.
Well I guess I won't be getting any sleep tonight thanks to this bombshell out of nowhere.
We desperately need more information from you. What are your rates? Commercial Plus? What are your First Class Rates? What are your Regional Box Rates? The calculator doesn't even show those rates. Please provide us with more information so we can make an informed decision.
Basically you are giving us 2 options:
1) Starting Friday start shipping hundreds of boxes at rates that are not published
or
2) Pay $349 non-refundable ransom to be able to ship those boxes at rates that we know (for some undetermined time until it breaks)
It would appear that you intend to give us a big screw-job if we need more than 48 hours to figure this out by forcing us to spend $349 (non-refundable) for the new license just so we can ship on Friday while we try to sort this out. What a way to treat a loyal customer. SMH. But what alternative do we have? Start shipping hundreds of boxes at rates we don't understand because you haven't published them? Sigh. This is the worst possible scenario I could ever imagine.
We anxiously await your clarification on these matters. Time is of the essence.
Your previously delighted, and now quite disgusted, customer since 2007.
