Can SR USPS and FedEx coexist?

I tried this a few years back and found that there was some shared settngs that if changed in one affected the other, so it would not work for us. I wish I could remember the specifics, but it was something as simple as the email alert message was common between them.

Can the USPS label be customized?

Total Order weight

One of the weaknesses of Zen Cart is the Zen database does not contain the total order shipping weight. So when orders are pulled into Shiprush, the weights are always wrong when there are multiple items in an order.

Do you know if this same issue exists for the Prestashop integration?

Endicia itself allows for the customization of the shipping labels. We print "If Mis-Delivered Call: Customers Phone number" (Saves support calls). We also print the customer order number on the label.

Unfortunately it does not appear that SR for Endicia has this. So while SR has much better shopping cart integration, it comes up short on label customization.

Ship rush stopped working with MS RMS

After properly working for 10 packages today shiprush stopped working with RMS(2.0.2000). When you click on the Shiprush button(from the RMS POS plug in) it looks like the program is opening but then doesn't. If I manually select USPS first class parcel form the icon in the tray the program opens but does not fetch customer info.

I have tried a number of things to fix it with no luck. Here is what I've done so far.
1. restarted shiprush. . .no joy
2. restarted shiprush and RMS. . .no joy
3. restarted PC, shiprush and RMS. . . no joy
4. reinstalled shiprush with latest version 11.0.7.8045 restarted PC, SR, RMS. . .no joy.
5. Uninstalled/reinstalled Plug in restarted PC, SR, RMS. . .no joy.

My end of day summary will not print for Fed Ex or UPS

ShipRush indicates that end of day has been run and shows complete; however, the summary does not print. UPS and FedEx advise that they do not receive the tracking/shipment data on their side. I do not know how to trouble shoot this and find the root cause. Please advise.

Return Labels

So when shiprush was on stamps.com I could use their software to generate pre-paid return labels for customers. I consider this a pretty standard feature since customers don't want to pay for returns.

However it doesn't seem Endicia has this option. First when I called they said I wouldn't even have access to the Dazzle software (no download link in my account, says it's unavailable). However I was able to find a download link and install it and I can login with my account info. However it seems as though the premium options tab isn't available at all. From looking at their plans even the basic $15.95 plan offers pre-paid return labels. On the phone they said the only way I can generate return labels is to open another account which I would have to pay for again just to print return labels.

This seems ridiculous to me. It would be nice if it was integrated into shiprush but I'm not even asking for that. I used the stamps.com software for years to generate return labels. Any chance of being able to do this with endicia?

Order not updating In Amazon/ShipRush

This happens about once or twice a month. I download (refresh) orders for Amazon. Ship a few and no issues, updates to Amazon. Later refresh orders and ship one. However it does not disappear in ShipRush from paid and it is not in shipped and doesn't update tracking to Amazon. But does appear in the end of day and EOD reports

Browser Plugin Error

*EDIT* Installed outside of Progam Files (my documents) and it didn't throw the error.

I'm on Windows 8.1 Pro and when I try installing ShipRush-Browser-Plugin-Development-Kit_v10.2.0.60175, I get the error attached.

Beta My.shiprush.com can't change passphrase

Had to change our pass phrase on Endicia. We successfully changed it on Endicia and updated our ShipRush computers with new pass phrase info, however, on the my.shiprush (NEW web version), it will not let me put the new passphrase in the settings. I keep getting an error "Please enter a longer Pass Phrase. Please use more words in the Pass Phrase."

Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch? Again, we've already changed our pass phrase with Endicia, just can't get the new pass phrase to take ONLY on the web version of my.shiprush

I'm really excited to try out the new web version, but this is the only hiccup I'm having and once this is solved, I'll be able to test out.

ShipRush chaging between Save Label To PDF or Printer

I'm using ShipRush via the Plug-in (through shiprush://ship Link..) it works good.

I need to be able to change the option for Thermal Printer or Save Label To PDF (where it saves to a specified folder..) Right now I need to go into the Settings/Printers/Label Printers and change the Printer Type drop down every time I want to change between the 2 options.. and its annoying.. I tried modifying the ShipRushClientSettings_FedEx.ini via code prior to launching the ShipRush Plug-in, I tried after its launched but it looks like ShipRush will replace all the values from a saved database (or file which I cannot find.).

can anyone tell me how I can accomplish this? I would really appericiate help on it (it would be nice if it can be passed along in the XML string that opens ShipRush plug-in...

We are sending them a Shipping request for 2 packages (1st package = 1lb and second package = 2lb) in a shipment by UPS Ground and we are getting back results that seem incorrect. First package comes back with $165.67 and second $13.34
attached is the request we are sending and the response returned
Note zFirm Ship Rush UPS returns $22.87

Choosing Fedex Ground vs Fedex Home delivery

How does ShipRush choose whether to ship with Ground (business address) vs Home (residential address)?

When I used the fedex site, once I click to verify the address, it would automatically pick home/ground. Is there a way to do that with ShipRush?

FedEx Smart Post issue

Noticed recently that the defaults for FedEx Smart Post (what SP Hub, options, and default to parcel select over 1lb) does not seem to be working. We're constantly having to manually select these options on each order that we want to ship Smart Post.

Also noticed that starting today (6/8), all transit times on Smart Post are showing 2 days no matter where it's going to.

This is with the NEW web version of my.shiprush.com

We are configuring Oracle Applications ERP. We currently use Shiprush and wanted to understand if Shiprush has been integrated to work with Oracle ERP before and if yes is there any documentation, or things to know that someone can point me to.

Upgraded zen cart and started having problems

The new version of Zen Cart has been out since Jan 1 and just upgraded one of my clients' site.

Immediately he started getting the webstore disabled message - which supposedly happens with a time out.

There have been no changes to the server. The only difference is that Zen Cart now used MySqli instead of MySql. I don't see anything in the php files that look like need to be changed but it's not working.

I don't know how to troubleshoot this. Any suggestions?

We just noticed by stamps.com that they are no longer partnership with ship-rush. we have USPS Commercial Plus rate from stamps.com. do we get same Commercial Plus rate from Endicia?

Bypassing Address Validation

I have an issue with an address that doesn't validate so it can't be printed. It's being sent to a new building. They have talked to their local post office and it will be delivered with the address they provided. But that address isn't in the USPS validation system. They are on East Main street. I can't print it with any variation of east main street, it want's to correct it to west main street which is actually a different address.

Even if I disable the address validation option in shiprush it's still not letting me print it. So I have a situation where I have contacted the customer, they've talked to the local post office to confirm it will be delivered but the system isn't allowing it. Is there a way I can print a label?
