Guys, I was just talking to the shopify.com support and told them I wish they had some kind of integration with stamps.com
The tech looked around and found an app from you guys but knew nothing about it so I said I'd go and ask some questions.
My first question is and it said so on the app, is this free?
Right now, my business is small and I need the free stuff. Later on, I have no problem upgrading if needed.
I need some way to be able to use my stamps.com account on shopify for the really small and light products where the US mail and other carriers are way too expensive. I have one product called the Helmet Hook (TheHelmetHook.com takes you to the actual shopify site..) which is a simple plastic hook that goes on the end of handlebars for you to hang the helmet on. Small, simple and cheap, BUT, I can't very well ask my customers to pay 5-6 bucks in shipping for a 3oz item :)
Stamps.com fixed that (my post office was NOT helpful at all).
However, I would like to be able to have that option somehow in shopify and even better if I can preselect it somehow as it gets complicated telling people to choose X option when you get to X screen and so on.
Any advice, comments and opinions would be appreciated and yes, I like stamps.com and would like to stick with them. They've been good to me, service is good and I tend to be a very loyal customer.
Also, I wondered if I install the app into shopify, if there's any way I can screw my other stuff up and again, I decided to ask before I mess things up :)
