Shiprush/Magento/ and custom order status's

Everything seems to be working great except that we have a custom status called Ebay Paid (ebay_pending backend) and it will not pull these orders into ship rush from magento. Please help

I know PayPal is an option, but what if your PayPal account is receiving payments from different channels i.e. eBay, my website, Etsy etc? How can I set up ShipRush to only retrieve orders from an specific channel such as Bonanza?

Your help is appreciated.

Magento API error: wrong URL error, and also invalid token

Hi folks,

I've been struggling over the past couple of days with adding the stamps.com API to a new Magento site we're developing. Everything has been configured according to specs, but I'm mainly getting the following error:

This is the error we get when accessing http://mysubdomain.mydomain.com/Ship...THING&cmd=ping

The API takes a good minute or two to respond with this kind of error message, and I've run the request through Fiddler, and it appears to be timing out. So, in a way, it appears that the GET request is not going through. It does come back with a HTTP 200 response, but it's obviously the wrong response. :)

(I have tested a quick "Hello world"-style method on that same VM and virtual host (CentOS, Apache) and it worked fine, so I don't think it's a request-limiting misconfiguration at this point.)

The odd thing, too, that if I try to create a POST request through Fiddler, my I get an invalid-token response from the API, which is equally odd. I can confirm that the token is the same.

I've looked at the Apache logs and reverse-proxy logs, and I'm not seeing any traffic being blocked.

Any thoughts as to how to make this issue go away would be most welcome. Thank you in advance!

ShipRush Denied Access to Data

Hi,

We've been working out ShipRush for a few days now, and I came on to it this morning to discover this upon startup



This is the main installation, so were confused as to why the access has been denied to the date.

It is on an XP operating system.

If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.

Floating "SHIP TO" label

We are currently running SR STAMPS.com - 9.6.0.55678

For several months, the word "SHIP" of the heading: "SHIP TO" has been floating within the return address field.

Notice left of the delivery address is only the word: TO:

But when you look up in the return address, the word "SHIP appears at a fixed location behind the return address.

In the 3 line return address, it hides appears barely above the KINGS of the city Kingston.
In the 4 line return address, it appears above the 12 Riv of the street address.

Has this issue been reported?
We use Doc Tab label format if it matters...

Box number is being omitted from address line

On more than one ocation I have included a box number with a street address and when I select Ship ShipRush omits the box number on the label.
The packages were going to a physical address but needed to include a box number since the address was at a university.
Please let me know how to correct this issue so we do not have to hand write the box number on the label.

Shiprush keeps resetting Volusion order status to "Processing"

When we use Shiprush, sometimes, all of a sudden hundreds of our old orders on Volusion (that were complete and had status "shipped") suddenly gets changed to status "Processing". We contacted volusion and they have identified the problem to be coming from shiprush.

Shiprush for Stamps SQL slow to load...

I am running shiprush for SQL linked to microsoft RMS.

On my main shipping machine (the one that hosts shiprush) the shipping screen pops up in 1-2 seconds after the search value is entered into the search box.

Due to an increase in sales volume (ya!) I need to run shiprush on another machine. I installed shiprush on a second computer that hosts the SQL database for RMS. When I enter an order number into the search window it takes 10-15 seconds for the shipment screen to appear.

Any suggestions on how to improve performance? The second computer is actually faster than the main computer (though running XP instead of Windows 7 64).

I even tried by installing shiprush on a laptop (win 7 64) and notice the same long delays for the ship screen to appear.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Paperless Invoice error

Just upgraded to v9 (9.6.0.55678) and it seems the Paperless Invoice option might be broken. I'm trying to create a shipment to Canada using Paperless Invoice and this error comes up after clicking "Ship": This shipment does not qualify for Paperless Invoice. The PDF417 data length exceeds maximum allowed.

When a commodity is added in the export documents screen the Paperless Invoice option turns red, indicating that the error is tied to adding a commodity. Even a commodity entry that is blank causes this error. Removing the commodity seems to clear the error but that obviously creates other problems with the shipping documents.

I'm not optimistic, but is there some work-around so I can get this stuff shipped?

Padded Envelopes

Hi, I'm wondering which package type I should select when I'm sending an international Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded Envelope? I don't see that listed as an option. It's the same price as a regular flat rate envelope, so maybe I can just select that?

Access violation

Just upgraded from v8 to 9.6.0.55678. There are now various access violation errors that occur when using ShipRush. Screenshots of the errors are attached - some are from XP, some from Win7.

We launch ShipRush from within our custom order management application. This was developed several years ago (2008 I think) using your SDK. The access violation errors only show up when ShipRush is accessed through this SDK implementation.

The first shipment processes without issue. When the next shipment is pulled up in ShipRush that's when the access violations occur. The errors pop up when attempting to use any of the drop-down menus in ShipRush (Service, Payment, etc.). This makes it impossible to ship freight collect or next day air, etc.

For now, the solution is to close our order management application after each shipment then open it back up and start fresh.

None of this happened with any previous version of ShipRush we have used (v4-v8). Something has changed in v9 that's preventing ShipRush from working properly with our application.

Bulk Shipping & Automatic Return Labels

I have turned on Automatic Return Labels but when I do bulk shipping only the shipping labels print, no return labels are printing.

Is it possible to have Return Labels print during Bulk Shipping?

Incorrect Order Statuses & Order Statuses Not Updating

I am running Opencart v1.5.5.1 and Shiprush v9.6.0.54410. To preface this problem, when installing the Shiprush Software, I was unable to simply plug my FTP information into the shiprush installation wizard, even though when entering the FTP information into any web browser, it works just fine. I had to complete the install using the manual approach. I'm not sure if that has any significance to this issue or not.

Shiprush and my Opencart software are communicating with each other, however Shiprush is pulling unpaid orders from Opencart and marking them as paid. Furthermore, when marking an item as shipped in the Shiprush system, it never updates the order in opencart. When changing a status of an order in Opencart, it will never change the status of the order in Shiprush. I have tried uninstalling everything and re-installing to no avail.

The following is from ShippingZSettings.php line 384

When comparing these order statuses to the order status id #'s in the source code, it would seem that everything is properly configured. Any help into this matter would be appreciated, I'd really like to use your software!

"Description of Goods" is required

When trying to ship internationally I get the following error which does not allow me to continue:

Sorry, but a "Description of Goods" is required. Please provide one.

This happens eventhough I have clicked on Export Documents and filled out the goods. Description of Goods gets emptied. I fill it out again but get the same error.

Please help.

eBay orders missing until I search for them in My.ShipRush

Hello,

For the past 2-3 months I have been missing some eBay orders that are not downloading into Order Manager. Unlike previous threads I have opened, these eBay (and only eBay) orders are unique in that no amount of resetting refresh timers or re-downloading recent orders will cause them to download. We have been calling these MIA orders at the office.

Take the order of Mohammad Ali for example (To preserve his privacy I can provide his ebay id/email in a private message or email to ZFirm)

March 14th
He placed and paid for his order on eBay

April 3rd
We are contacted by Mohammad and notified that his order never shipped. My CSR goes into eBay website and confirms his order is un-shipped. I check Order Manager and search for his order, it is not found.
Now if you do a quick Shiprush Forum search for my username, you will see in a number of threads that I have reset the refresh timers multiple times between March 14th and April 3rd, so I am 99.999% certain that wasn't the problem.
Still April 3rd
After confirming it wasn't in Order Manager I went to My.ShipRush to see if it was at least pulled from eBay, which was the case with previous MIA orders. A few minutes after this my afternoon shipping employee did a refresh on Order Manager and suddenly Mohammads order was now in the Order Manager!

I am wondering/hypothesizing that searching for MIA orders in My.ShipRush somehow "refreshes" their status and allows them to work correctly.


Upon request I can provide a list of the MIA orders and some log files, perhaps there will be some useful info about this issue.
