Shiprush changing apt. #?

Hello,

We are just wondering if it is possible for ShipRush to change the apartment number of someone's address? The apt. number was correct on our site, but it seems to have changed to a different number once it converted over to ShipRush. We are thinking that this customer may have changed the number after placing the order and is trying to scam us, but are unsure if this could be a glitch with the ShipRush software? It's only happened to this one customer and this is the second time that she has complained of it. Thanks.

Can't print return labels?

We're trying to print a return label (USPS or FedEx) and when clicking on the reverse to/from button, it will briefly show the return label options, but then within seconds go to "none" as the only option. Having same issue on multiple PC's here.

I have a customer that want to change from ShipRush UPS Basic to ShipRush UPS PRO. Having a problem locating how this is done in the ShipRush documentation. Can you point me to the correct process?

Labels Do Not Print Correctly for Multi-Piece Shipments

Zebra label printer goes totally wonky on multi-piece shipments - it will not print all the labels in sequence like it should.

For example, yesterday on a shipment of 12 packages to one destination address, when we hit F10 to ship and print labels we got labels for packages #1, #2, #4, #5, #7, #10... and then it stopped.

All 12 shipments were properly created by Fedex (12 tracking numbers in the SR history grid), so we select one of them in History grid & hit REPRINT, and get another crazy batch with some of the same labels that printed initially and one or two of the ones that did NOT print on the first run. So then we hit REPRINT again, and hope that we'll get more of the ones we need. Sometimes on a large order like this one it requires hitting REPRINT 4 or 5 times to wind up getting all the labels we need, and then we have about THIRTY or so duplicates to trash.

If a shipment consists of only TWO labels, we always get them both just fine - #1 of 2, and # 2 of 2 - perfect. But if there are THREE labels, we'll get only two of them. Sometimes #1 and #2, sometimes #1 and #3 - but never all three (until we select from History grid & do the REPRINT dance).

We're on SR v 11.0.8.4014, Windows XP (yeah, I know, but it works fine (except for this printing issue)). Machine has ample RAM (4G I think), ample HD space (couple hundred gig)... I have tried two different printers (Zebra ZP500 Plus and a ZP 505) both local (USB), same thing. I tried several different USB printer cables, no difference.

When I change settings in ShipRush to make it store the labels as PDF's, all labels are created & stored just fine, but of course we don't want to do that & then print from the PDF's, need to hit F10 & get all the labels in sequence & keep rocking.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

New USPS APV system

We received notice from Endicia (we still have an old active account with them) regarding USPS Automated Package Verification System. It reads:

"Starting August 1, 2017, the USPS plans to change the way they handle under-paid and over-paid postage amounts for packages.

The USPS will use the new Automated Package Verification (APV) system to verify the weight, dimensions, package type and entry ZIP Code for all packages processed through USPS sorting facilities.

APV only affects domestic shipping labels with a USPS Tracking barcode. Postage with no embedded tracking barcodes, such as stamps or postage printed for Large Envelopes & Flats and #10 Envelopes, will not be affected.

What does this mean for you?
Prior to APV, packages identified as having under-paid postage were rejected or delivered "postage due." Once APV goes into effect, packages identified as having under-paid postage will be delivered without delay to the recipient and the amount of under-paid postage will be deducted from your postage account balance.
When overpaid packages are identified, your postage account will be credited for the amount of the over-paid postage. Prior to APV, overpayments were not identified nor credited."

Will ShipRush Discount Postage be affected by this change, and allow for debit/credits to our account for any issue where the item was mis-weighed or mis-measured?

Got a email yesterday saying card was declined. My old card was compromised back in June. I have done updated the info and still get the declined email. Works fine purchasing more postage so have no idea. Replied to the decline email yesterday with no response. Invoice 34861

Is there a quick way to generate return label for an order placed via ebay? For example all the information is on the original shipment however the "to" and "from" need to be reversed.

ShipRush error messages after computer sleeps

ShipRush will not work after I bring my computer back up after it goes into sleep mode. Most days I just close my laptop at the end of the day. I don't always shut the computer down. But when I try to run ShipRush I get a really long error message. The only way it works is if i go to Task Manager and stop the program. I then have to restart the program. This seems to always fix the program. Is this a Window weakness or is there something wrong with the program? Is there an update that i can do? Any help is appreciated.

Color logo on packing slip

I know the documentation suggests not using color logos but I prefer a color logo. I uploaded a color logo but it prints black and white even though there is other color in the packing slip. Is it possible to have a color logo printed in color on the packing slip?

Is there an updated list of compatible scales that could be provided? Nearly all of the scales listed in the documentation are obsolete or discontinued.

Address Validation Setting

Using ShipRush Order Manager, even with address validation turned off, it still refuses to ship a shipment with an address that won't validate in USPS (even though it's a perfectly valid address).

Even with validation turned on, there should be an option in the address error pop-up that allows ignoring validation on a per shipment basis.

ShipRush JS api - open up existing shipments instead of creating new ones?

Hey Guys,
I'm doing an integration of shiprush for a customer, we have everything working which is great news, but the client does not favour the idea of having to open the orders on our admin panel then having to load the shiprush site and search for the order again there to generate the shipping.

We came across your JS api (https://my.shiprush.com/pages.aspx?a...apiBBL-PRIVATE) which we thought was just the thing we needed, however upon testing we can see that this API only allows us to create NEW shipments not open existing ones already imported into the system, which is no good for us as the whole dashboard will be a mess of duplicates and orders waiting shipment that were actually shipped.

All we want to do is as the JS api does already, which is load a popup of the shiprush system, however instead of creating a new shipment we want to locate and load a shipment already imported by specifying the order id we specify in the import scripts.

Can someone explain how this can be done? I would not think we are asking too much??

ShipRush UPS End of Day Errors

Hi there.

Ever since the ShipRush software was updated a few months back, my UPS end of day has begun to error out on occasion. It has happened twice now. Despite temporary fixes from the ShipRush support team, I was told that this is most likely an issue on our 3rd party software connected to ShipRush's end. We have had the same coding for 10+ years, and the issue NEVER happened until this update, and has since happened twice. I was told that certain shipments show up as USPS in the UPS directory and that is causing the problem. Is there some kind of new coding that needs to be put in on our end? I tested by scanning a package that was for UPS, the label printed as UPS, but showed in shiprush as a USPS priority mail order.

incomplete info in "save zpk" for Shiprush USPS for APO/FPO shipments

The file created when using the "save zpk" function for Shiprush USPS for APO/FPO shipments is missing the commodity information.

To reproduce:
1)Create a new shipment for a "Shiprush USPS" account
- Name, company, phone, address: [enter anything]
- City: DPO
- State, select: AE
- ZIP: 09828
- Country, select: U.S.A.
- Packaging, select: Package
- Weight: 1 lbs, 1 oz
- Size: [leave blank]
- Service: USPS Priority
- International section
-- Documents Only: unchecked
-- Customs Form, select: CN22
-- Content, select: Merchandise
-- If not delivered, select: Return
-- Content Other: [leave blank]
- International Goods: Add two commodities
2) Select "Save ZPK"
3) Hit "Ship"
4) Examine label and zpk file.
- The printed label has a customs form on it with the commodity information. (it prints a CP76, not a CN22)
- The ZPK files does not include the commodity information. So, the ZPK is missing information needed to print the label.

Can the zpk file be updated to include all the information used to print the label?

Also can it print a CN22 when shipment permits a CN22 and CN22 is selected? If it converts to CP76 or packages with value too high for CN22, that's great, but not for low value packages.

Coming from Teapplix and find it very hard to use

The followings are very usefully functions and are very easy to be done in Teapplix but I can't figure out the way to do in ShipRush.

1. How to detect orders to the same destination so we can do combine shipping.
In teapplix, just click "combine" A list of orders with same ship to addresses will be shown to you. The system detects the orders that can be combined for you.

2. How to make an excel with the ordered item in the same order the purchased labels are arranged.
Very easy to do in Teapplix. Just 1 click. In Shiprush, all I can find is a picking list that is not in accordance with the labels. You will have to do a second "picking" after you finish the "picking list" provided by shiprush. And also, this list is buried in the settings section (report chapter).

3. How to show more than 100 orders?

These are the most important functions that can greatly help sellers to ship the orders fast. Please educate.

Rate system down?

We seem to be having difficulty rating or shipping orders on both SR Web and SR Desktop this morning. When attempting to estimate rates, it just spins and then times out. When trying to ship after selecting a carrier and shipping method, we get an error that SR cannot obtain rates at this time, and the label does not print.

Any ideas?

Reprinting Multi-Shipment labels makes duplicates, possibly voided labels

Hello,

We just clicked "reprint" on a multi-shipment (11 pieces) order, and the following labels came out of the printer.
1-8 of 11 have 3 duplicates, while 9-11 don't.
We made some mistake in setting up the printer (needed DocTab at bottom and then horizontal margin), so it was our 3rd label
after voiding 1st and 2nd labels to exact same pieces, exact same destination, declared value, etc.
This did not happen with FedEx ShipRush Desktop, but ShipRush Web is having some issues like this one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Modify Thermal Packing Slip Template

The built in templates aren't very good. It is possible to modify inkjet/laser ones. Why not thermal?
