Running a single instance of ShipRush with UPS via the SDK.
Recently, my client alerted me that they had shipped a parcel with an existing tracking number. I did some research, and found this:

I performed the recommended procedure to fix the issue. It seemed to work for a while, but has just happened again. They are not shipping a large amount of parcels with ShipRush just at the moment, so i'm surprised to see two or more dups in such a short time, especially after trying the fix.
When this happens, the get confused/angry contacts from their customers.
I can of course have them check the tracking numbers before shipping, and I understand from the support document that this is not considered an urgent issue, but is there anything further programmatically i can do besides changing the client ID to address this issue?
