Combine Orders

It seems that the Combine Orders folder is looking for an exact, 100% address match. If the customer uses "street" on one order and "st." on another order, these orders are not identified for combining.

Is this an accurate assumption?

Is there a way to lessen the strictness of the Combine search? Since Combine Orders is not an automatic function (i.e. the user still needs to verify them and click "Combine", nothing is done automatically when matches are found) it shouldn't need to be such a strict rule.
