Not sure if this is a bug in the program, a difference in UPS vs. Fedex, or something else.
Version 11.0.9.4926 - Shiprush for Fedex and UPS Basic, using link to Goldmine.
On Fedex shipments, if the "Declared Value" exceeds the "Customs Value", it throws an error consistently.
On UPS shipments, it does not appear to care if the "Declared Value" exceeds the "Customs Value". It would seem like the same logic should apply.
Is this by design? Mistake? Something else going on?
p.s. - Just got beat on by a customer we were shipping collect on their account. Person entering it made a typo and entered a declared value of $7500 instead of $75.00, so customer got hit with an extra $200 worth of insurance they didn't want/need! So it would be a helpful check against screwups if nothing else.
